Isabella

Cachirulo milonga martes en El Beso, Buenos Aires 2014This year is a very special one for Isabella as it is her ten year anniversary of living and travelling to Buenos Aires for tango.

The first trip to dance tango was life changing.

The beautiful music selections, the soft close-embrace improvisational downtown style of dance, and the honour to be included in an underground ‘secret’ world are thrilling.

Having spent thousands of hours dancing in the milongas in Buenos Aires, and with this unique insight and experience, Isabella is passionate about sharing her enthusiasm and knowledge with others.

Nothing is more exciting for her than to help inspire others gain more skills and confidence in the guided search for their own dance.

Providing professional development (teaching/mentoring) in the Arts (music/dance/art), teaching Pilates, and creating programs for young and old, has lead her to instruct, coach, collaborate, DJ and organize multiple Argentine tango events here and abroad.

Tango is an incredible journey of self exploration whereby we can explore and express our emotions. We can find in the milongas a microcosm of the world as we see it.

With every step Isabella dances she reflects the absolute respect and love she has of this mysterious, elusive world.
